SEZMAR COLLECTION PROFESSIONAL
Sandalwood Massage Oil, 500 ml
(0)
€16.00 EUR
Unit price / perSandalwood Massage Oil
Sandalwood Massage Oil is built on Santalum austrocaledonicum, the Pacific sandalwood, which grows in New Caledonia and Vanuatu and in no other place on earth. Grape seed and almond oils carry it, wheat germ oil adds weight, and allantoin covers skin comfort where you work the same area every week. Interesting fact: this tree is a hemiparasite, so it cannot be grown as a monoculture at all. It has to be planted alongside a host, and the heartwood that holds the oil takes about 30 years to build to a harvestable size. Vanuatu sets a harvest quota season by season, declared by the minister, and one recent season was capped at 80 tonnes for the whole country. On the skin the scent is creamy, woody and slightly milky, and it stays on the skin to the end of a long session. Main benefits:
- Populations of this species have been measured at 48 to 49 percent alpha-santalol, at the high end for any sandalwood.
- The scent holds through a 90 minute session without a second application.
- Woody and low in sweetness, which suits clients who find florals too much.
- Five ingredients on the label.
How the product works: Grape seed oil is the carrier and thins under the warmth of the hands. Almond oil slows the slip so long strokes stay even. Wheat germ oil sits fourth and carries the highest tocopherol content of any oil used in this range. Santalols are heavy, low-volatility molecules, so sandalwood behaves as a base note. That is why the aroma is still present at the end of the hour when a citrus oil would have gone. How to use:
- Application: Pour 15 ml and start at the back. Sandalwood builds slowly, so give it the first ten minutes on the largest surface you will work.
- Massage: Slow, deliberate strokes with long contact. This is not an oil for fast work; the aroma and the slip both reward a slower pace.
- Tip: Keep the bottle away from direct light on the shelf. Heat and light are what degrade a wood oil, and this is not a cheap one.
Suitable for: Spa therapists running 90 minute signature treatments, and practices whose clients ask for something woody and grounded instead of a floral or a citrus.
Results with regular use:
- An aroma a client recognises as your signature treatment.
- Skin stays comfortable across a weekly schedule on the same areas.
- No mid-session top-up on a 90 minute protocol.
- A scent that lasts on the client into the evening.
INCI/Ingredients: Grape Seed Oil, Almond Oil, Santalum Austrocaledonicum, Wheat Germ Oil, Allantoin.
Packaging: 500 ml pump bottle. At 10 to 20 ml per full-body session that is 25 to 50 treatments per bottle.

Sandalwood Massage Oil, 500 ml
For therapists running long, slow protocols where the scent has to hold for the full hour.
500 ml covers 25 to 50 full-body treatments at 10 to 20 ml per session. At €16.00 and a 15 ml application that is €0.48 per treatment.
🌴 Santalum austrocaledonicum, the Pacific sandalwood. It grows in New Caledonia and Vanuatu and nowhere else on earth.
⌛ Heartwood takes about 30 years to build to a size worth harvesting. There is no fast version of this ingredient.
🌿 The tree cannot be farmed alone. Sandalwood is a hemiparasite and needs a host plant beside it, so it is grown intercropped.
📊 Populations of this species have been measured at 48 to 49 percent alpha-santalol, which is at the high end for any sandalwood. Ask your supplier for the certificate on the lot.
🔒 Vanuatu sets a harvest quota by season, declared by the minister. One recent season was capped at 80 tonnes for the whole country.
🤝 Creamy, woody, milky on the skin, and it is still there at the end of a 90 minute session.
🏭 Made by Kozmetika Hristina to one batch formula. The bottle you reorder matches the one you opened.

Five ingredients. Grape seed and almond oils are the carriers, wheat germ oil adds weight and tocopherol, and allantoin is the skin-conditioning component. The aromatic is Santalum austrocaledonicum, the sandalwood species native to New Caledonia and Vanuatu. Populations of this species have been measured at 48 to 49 percent alpha-santalol and 20 to 22 percent beta-santalol, at the high end for any sandalwood. Figures vary by provenance, so ask for the certificate of analysis on the lot you buy. Contains almond oil, a tree nut.
INCI/Ingredients: Grape Seed Oil, Almond Oil, Santalum Austrocaledonicum, Wheat Germ Oil, Allantoin.
Sandalwood buys you longevity, and that is a scheduling advantage as much as a sensory one. Santalols are heavy, low-volatility molecules, so the aroma sits as a base note and is still working at minute eighty-five of a 90 minute treatment, where a citrus blend would have faded before the halfway point. That makes this the oil to build a signature treatment around, because the client leaves carrying it. The supply story is worth telling a professional buyer too: the tree is a hemiparasite that has to be grown next to a host, the heartwood takes about three decades to become worth cutting, and Vanuatu sets the harvest by seasonal quota, one recent season at 80 tonnes for the entire country. Woody and low in sweetness, so it works on clients who refuse florals.
Spa therapists running 90 minute signature treatments where the aroma has to hold for the full hour without a second application. Clients who ask for something woody and grounded and turn down anything floral or citrus.

Frequently Asked Questions
Start with the treatment type. For muscle recovery and tension relief, the Magnesium Oil is the go-to. For relaxation and skin nourishment, our standard massage oils work best. If you're unsure, contact us and we'll recommend based on your protocols.
Yes. The 500ml format is designed specifically for professional volume use. The formula is consistent batch to batch, making it reliable for daily use across multiple clients.
On average 10 to 20ml per full-body session, depending on technique and pressure. The pump format helps control dosage and reduces waste.
Yes. The formula contains no silicones, parabens or artificial colorants. Allantoin and beeswax make it gentle enough for repeated use. Always perform a patch test for clients with known skin sensitivities.
We recommend using it on the body only. For facial treatments, a dedicated facial oil is more appropriate.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the pump closed between uses. Shelf life is indicated on the packaging.
