Massage Oil Snow Flowers has four ingredients and not one of them is an aromatic. Grape seed oil, almond oil, wheat germ oil, allantoin. No essential oil, no extract, no fragrance. Magnesium is the only other formula in this range without an aromatic, and that one is a water-based emulsion, so this is the fragrance-free choice if you want a straight oil. Interesting fact: wheat germ oil, third on that short list, carries around 149 mg of alpha-tocopherol per 100 g, which is roughly four times the content of almond oil and five times that of grape seed. It is the reason wheat germ appears in ten of the sixteen blends here. What this oil smells of is the base oils themselves, a faint cereal and nut note, and nothing has been added on top of it. How the product works: Grape seed oil leads and thins under the warmth of the hands, spreading over a large area in one pass. Almond oil sits second and slows the absorption so the slip holds for a full hour. Wheat germ oil adds body and the tocopherol that keeps the blend stable on a shelf. Allantoin is declared as a skin-conditioning and skin-protecting ingredient, and that is the whole formula. How to use:
- Application: 15 ml for a full body. With no aromatic to warm forward, there is no benefit to holding it in the palms first.
- Massage: Any sequence. This is the most neutral slip in the range and it does not steer the technique in any direction.
- Tip: If you blend your own, decant into a smaller working bottle and add essential oil there. Dosing into the 500 ml means committing the whole bottle to one client's preference.
Suitable for: Any practice with fragrance-sensitive clients on the intake form, therapists who blend their own aromatics, and clinical or medical settings where a scented treatment room is not appropriate.
